Course Title: OSHA 10-HOUR CONSTRUCTION SAFETY

Course Description:
With specifically selected topics by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration, this OSHA 10-hour training program is designed for construction workers, foremen, job supervisors or anyone involved in the construction industry. The goal of this OSHA 10 training course is to help your employees identify, avoid, prevent and control hazardous situations in the work place.
Considered as “the standard” in the construction industry, this OSHA 10 training provides a strong foundation upon which employers and workers can build a safe working environment. This course is intended as an overview of construction safety (not OSHA standards), with topics specifically selected by OSHA for your workers. This safety awareness class can reduce or eliminate employee injuries, worker compensation claims, potential lawsuits, property damage, and the need to hire and train replacement workers.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants receive an OSHA Construction Safety & Health 10-hour completion card from the Department of Labor. Customers will recieve copies of class rosters and course evaluations.

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Better communicate hazard awareness to their employers and fellow workers.
- Identify, avoid, prevent and control hazardous situations.
- Become more accountable for their safety & the safety of others on the job.
- Better understand the function and role OSHA plays in worker safety.
- Appreciate the cost of an accident to his employer and himself.
- Demonstrate through a written exam their understanding of safety in the work place.
