Course Title: FALL PROTECTION FOR MANAGEMENT

Course Description:
This program is designed for managers or supervisors with subordinates who use fall protection equipment and systems. This course provides management with an overview of fall protection fundamentals, regulations, and the management practices necessary to maintain an effective fall protection safety program. Customers receive class rosters and course evaluations.

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will:

• Understand their role of that of the "designated competent persons".


• Be familiar with standards and applicable regulations.


• Understand the application of safety and health requirements.


• Be familiar with various fall protection devices and systems.


• Understand hazard analysis for addressing potential hazards.


• Understand prevention vs. protection.


• Be familiar with the design and implementation of a fall protection program.


• Be familiar with selections, inspections and maintenance of fall protection systems.
