Course Title: FALL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT INSPECTOR

Course Description:
This course is designed for individuals responsible for inspecting personal fall protection systems at the "competent person" level. Training provides an in-depth look at the ANSI and OSHA standards covering inspection, care and maintenance of personal fall protection systems. Participants receive a wallet card certificate. Customers receive class rosters and course evaluations.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will:
- Understand responsibilities of a "competent person" inspector.
- Be familiar with the ANSI standards, and OSHA or State regulations.
- Understand the application of safety and health requirements.
- Be familiar with various fall protection devices.
- Be capable of performing inspections and maintenance.
Prerequisites: None
Recommended Personnel to Attend: All personnel required to inspect personal fall protection systems at the "competent person" level. This includes employees who work in general industry, shipyards, aircraft hangers, construction and maintenance.
