Course Title: EXCAVATION & TRENCHING AWARENESS

Location: On-site (at customer’s location)

Course Description:
This awareness level training course is intended as basic training for managers, Supervisors, inspectors, equipment operators, truck drivers or ground support personnel. It provides a fundamental understanding of excavation and trenching standards from the Competent Person's viewpoint, and allows them to better function as a team in accord with the designated person. Program complies with all State and Federal regulations. Participants receive a student workbook. Customers receive class rosters and course evaluations.

• Recognize and avoid exiting or potentially hazardous situations.


• Understand the Competent Person's role


• Be familiar with regulations and requirements


• Be familiar with the soil classification system
