Let's face it, conflict is a part of life and the workplace. What's important is how we work cooperatively towards a quick resolution. Unfortunately, most individuals have difficulty resolving conflicts because they simply don't have the tools to effectively deal with it. As a result, workplace conflicts are becoming increasingly costly to organizations everywhere.
Consider the financial impacts generated by employee sabotage, anger or grudge-based decision making, or lack of effort from those on the bottom-end of a win-lose. The list goes on and on. Fortunately, there's a solution to this widespread problem. Simple mediation techniques can enable employees to resolve conflicts themselves.
This conflict resolution training program is useful for individuals or teams learning to work with each other, and for professionals who want the skills required for successful conflict resolution, management and mediation. It teaches how and why conflicts start including anger, sabotage and lack of cooperation, how conflicts impact decision making, how to resolve conflicts, how style matters in terms of resolution, and that there's usually more than one way to reach a resolution.

- Identify behavioral styles and how to adjust to each.
- Understand how cultural and background diversity affect interpretations of situations.
- Exercise listening skills to improve communications.

- Implement conflict management and mediation.
